MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – October 22, 2007 5:15 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., James L. Deming and Steven DellaGiustina
Also present: Wayne Carr
Wayne Carr, Highway Superintendent updated the board on the Public Works Department.
Wayne asked the board to consider increasing the amount of sick leave that can be earned for regular full time employees. Currently sick leave is available to regular full-time and regular part time employees only and begins to accrue from the date of employment at the rate of one day of sick leave per month of service. Unused, accrued sick leave pay may accumulate up to a maximum of 30 days from year to year. The Board of Selectmen will speak with MIIA regarding Short/Long Term Disability before discussing any further.
The Trash Compactor hours will remain Sun. 3-7PM, Wed. 5-7PM and Sat. 9-11AM until December 1st in which they will change to winter hours Sun 3-5PM, Wed. 5-7PM and Sat. 9-11AM
